The Vision for Encounters Network
Changing Lives  Impacting Nations
The vision of Encounters Network is to unite and mobilize the body of Jesus Christ by teaching and imparting the power of intercession, prophetic ministry, and life in the Spirit. We accomplish this through: Encounters Events where people experience God's presence, Encounters Communications where the vision is cast, Encounters Resources where believers are equipped for Kingdom impact, and Encounters Acts where we demonstrate compassion through various missions endeavors.
Goals of this ministry are networking with leaders in the church and marketplace; friendship and relational care for itinerant, outreach, and missions ministries; training believers through conferences, seminars and outreaches; creating quality materials to reproduce life in the Spirit.
Encounters Network is an expression of the life of Jesus Christ as demonstrated through a team of servant leaders. We are friends in Jesus who are members of evangelical, Spirit-filled congregations around the world.
We are a federally approved, tax exempt religious organization governed by a Board of Directors. We receive periodic counsel from an international Board of Reference made up of leaders in the body of Christ. Our aim is to walk in integrity and accountability both in moral and financial issues.
We purpose to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom with signs following to Jews and the Gentiles alike. Our desire is to equip the body of Christ to fulfill her destiny as the "House of Prayer for All Nations" and become an "exceedingly great army sent out into all the earth."
EN DNA – 12 CORE VALUES
With any ministry or effective ministry you have “core values”. You might always be able to articulate them but you do operate by them. I sat with a team of leaders that know the heart of this ministry and we came up with 12 KEY PHRASES that helps to identify the DNA of Encounters Network and thus the EN Alliance.
I did not try (at first) to make all these phrases start with an “A” word for the second word of the phrase. But as we got into the process of identification, we found there were 12 key components that make up the ingredients of EN • GPS • CA. One phrase that is not spelled out in this list is the emphasis of “justice” – but it is a major part of who we are as a multi-ministry coalition of friends. I think the “justice piece” is included though in many of the phrases such as: Mission Ambassadors, Compassion Acts, Kingdom Advancement, and Apostolic Application etc. So it is there – just not in your face type of thing.
I hope that these 12 ingredients resound within you as they did in me when I shared them at one of our Leaders Summit’s some time back. They represent who we are as a collective people. We are called to make a difference joining the generations, gender, races and economic strata. We might not have achieved this mark, but I was taught by my late uncle who was in full time vocational ministry for over 60 years, “If you aim at nothing, you will surely hit it.” So let’s aim high together and hit something for Jesus sake.
